The von Metzsch connection begins with my 8th Grandmother, Katharina Sophia von Metzsch (? - 1682), wife of Johann Friedrich von Watzdorf (1649 - 1699).
This is the first ancestry line in which I noticed several of the wife's birth dates matched the husbands so not sure how definitive that information is but it may be that that is standard practice to estimate a birth year when it is not actually known. I also noticed that von Schönberg showed up several times in this line. Von Schönberg is an ancestral line that trace elsewhere, not sure yet if these von Schönbergs are related or not but it is probably a good assumption.
